Our 5's UKG Program is designed to prepare children for their transition to primary school with confidence, independence, and strong foundational learning skills. Conducted five days a week in a warm, caring, and hygienic environment, our program focuses on academic readiness, structured learning routines, and character development. Our innovative curriculum combines thematic learning, interactive literacy sessions, and age-appropriate academic activities that strengthen social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development through subjects such as science, social studies, art, sports, and dance.
Teachers promote advanced language and literacy development by introducing activities that reinforce letter blends, phonemic awareness, sentence formation, expressive and receptive language, oral comprehension, and early reading fluency. Mathematical concepts are strengthened through exercises involving numeration, sequencing, place value, measurement, addition, subtraction, patterning, charts, and graph interpretation. These learning experiences nurture higher-order thinking, reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
Students also participate in weekly specialty classes guided by trained instructors in culinary arts, sports, dance, music, and yoga. These sessions help children build creativity, rhythm, confidence, body coordination, and mindfulness. Our structured physical activities and visual arts program help refine fine-motor, gross-motor, and artistic expression skills.
Our art studio encourages children to explore the elements of art—texture, shape, color, line, and form—through hands-on activities. By observing the works of renowned artists and experimenting with various media, children learn to express creativity and develop visual comprehension skills. These experiences culminate in special curated activities where children apply their learning through guided creativity and project work.
The UKG curriculum at Little Bees International Play School is specially designed to ensure school readiness by strengthening reading, writing, numerical operations, comprehension, and cognitive processing. Children learn to follow classroom rules, complete structured worksheets, participate in group interactions, speak confidently, and develop the discipline needed for Grade 1. With a strong emphasis on values, independence, communication, and curiosity, our UKG program ensures a smooth transition into formal schooling while nurturing a lifelong love for learning.
